Mobile Flares for Windows Phone 7

Project Description
A client for getting iridium flare predictions on your Windows Phone 7. It uses location and sensor capabilities on the device to get accurate prediction data and improve guidance for each flare.

For those who already know about Iridium Flares: This application allows you to get predictions for your current location and provides guidance to locate that spot in the sky where the show will happen.

Currently the application sports the following:

1. Get predictions for your current location each time the application is opened
2. Live Tile shows upcoming flares even if application is not running
3. Background Agent updates Live Tile information without opening the application
4. Set reminders for specific flares
5. Use compass sensor for guidance

Predictions
Opening the application fetches predictions from HeavensAbove seven days in advance. This, as well as prediction updates performed by the background agent, requires internet connectivity.
